It was the moment that everyone had been waiting for (in the rain, under umbrellas) when Beyoncé took to the stage at V Festival, for her first UK festival of the year, making an entrance like only a global star knows how...
Debuting her brand new “Posh Spice” bob, Beyoncé took to the stage and revealed her sleek blonde extensions to the world, after shockingly chopping off her locks in place of a pixie crop earlier last week. And this time, Beyoncé hit the headlines in more ways than one.
Kicking off to a late start, the Pop soulstress left thousands waiting in the rain as she arrived 20 minutes late. But she quickly won over the crowd with show-stopping performances, which included no less than six costume changes and hit songs like “Crazy in Love,” “Single Ladies,” and “Run the World,” among other booty shaking tracks. And, her new do did not get in the way of her usual hair flipping tricks either!
It was also reported that Beyoncé had declined Channel 4 clearance to broadcast her Virgin Media V Festival performance on television, following strict press access to her “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” after a series of unflattering pictures were released from her Super Bowl show in February.
