Chris Brown Probation Revoked - The singer could be sentenced to four years in prison.

Chris Brown is a free man tonight, but whether he stays that way for long is in serious question.

A Los Angeles County judge has granted a motion to revoke the terms of Brown's probation for the 2009 assault on Rihanna due to his alleged role in a hit-and-run accident in May, TMZ reports.

The decision came down just hours after it was reported that the LA District Attorney's office filed a motion to lift the singer's probation. Brown appeared in court today with his legal team in tow to fight the motion. Though he maintains that he did everything he was supposed to do following the minor fender bender, the judge still decided to rule in favor of the D.A.

Brown was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court in August for a probation violation hearing. If found in breach of the terms that were agreed upon following his guilty plea for brutally attacking Rih Rih on that infamous night in February 2009, the "Don't Judge Me" singer could land in prison for four years.
